また、他のフォーラムWelcome to the CrackBerry Forumsでは、BlackBerry OS Update 10.2.1.3442 / SR 10.2.1.3062と言う投稿で、

No, BB10 updates are still tied to the carrier.
The exception is that with an unlocked BB10 device, you may be able to remove your SIM card, restart, and then receive the highest update direct from BlackBerry for your device model.

と書いてある。おお、と思って早速SIMを抜いて再起動してみたが、残念ながらupdateは降って来なかった、、、。ただ、BlackberryLinkにつないで、PC側で「↓ソフトウェア更新」をやると、「お使いのBlackberryで利用可能な最新のデバイスソフトウェアがあります」などと思わせぶりなメッセージが出る。
しかし、アップデートは来ない。
